Concept of One-Wheel Electric Scooter from RYNO Motors

RYNO Motors has developed the world’s first self-balancing one wheel electric scooter. The scooter has a range of about 30 miles and can hit a top speed of 25mph. It weighs a mere 125 pounds and can support a rider weight of 250lbs. Multiple sensors constantly monitor the balance of the motorcycle during the movement and control system is ready to seize control of the bike if the driver ignores the warning and, for example, exceeds the maximum permissible speed or bends the car under a dangerous angle. There is also a system for monitoring the battery status (LiFePo4, by the way). When the battery level drops to 25%, the system warns the driver signal is yellow, up to 5% – red. It is assumed that the model will cost $3500.

Rolling Stone Concept car

There are more and more concepts of individual eco cars – prototypes of the cars of the future – appear every year. Today’s concept – a futuristic creation of Russian designer Vitaly Kononov – is called "Rolling Stone". A very accurate title for the vehicle having so fantastic design. The corp of the car consists of two large wheels on each side of the capsule housing the only passenger. The car moves through the electric motors receiving power from onboard batteries. The design of concept is intersting by itself – both sides of the concept car are LED screens on which the pilot can show any photo or video.

Let us show you quite unusual car concept. It’s even not quite concept car. This vehicle is designed by talanted artist from Sweden Jason Battersby as an award to celebrate cultural hero’s outstanding achievements. "Inspired by the Stanley Cup of the National Hockey League, I wanted to create a vehicle that would be passed on to each winner and be driven for one year, collecting the names and experiences of these great individuals." This project was in collaboration with Audi AG, done at the Umea Institute of Design in Sweden.

X-Trail 20 GT sports-utility vehicle - Nissan `s ECO friendly Car

Nissan Motor Corp. has launched its first clean-running diesel vehicle in Japan in a bid to open up a new market by rebranding the fuel as eco-friendly.The X-Trail 20 GT sports-utility vehicle with an M9R engine offers powerful acceleration while complying with some of the world's strictest emissions standards that will come into effect across Japan in October 2009.The car increases fuel economy by 30 percent over a 2.5-litre gasoline engine and cuts carbon-dioxide emissions by 20 percent, Japan's third largest automaker .It is the first diesel car in Japan in years for Nissan, which has been less enthusiastic than its domestic rivals in developing eco-friendly hybrid cars.Japanese consumers have long snubbed diesel-powered vehicles due to the perception that they are smelly, noisy and sooty.

While diesel accounts for approximately 60 percent of vehicle sales in Europe, the figure is in the single digits in the United States and Japan.The launch is a test-case for the company, which targets annual sales of 1,200 units .With a price tag of nearly three million yen (27,700 dollars) including consumption tax, it costs nearly 20 percent more than a comparable vehicle with a traditional engine.But the price gap can be offset in fuel savings by driving an average of 10,000 kilometres (6,200 miles) annually for three years.

If a hit among the public, Nissan will start developing a line-up using the technology. It also plans to introduce the technology in its models in North America and China by 2010.

Porsche Design P’6612 Dashboard Le Mans

Nobody could beat the record of Porsche – 16 victories in 24 hours race of Le Mans. The first success in this race came to Porsche in the far 1970, with the participation of Hans Herrmann and Richard Attwood. In honor of those victories design studio Porsche Design has decided to release commemorative watch, called Porsche Design P’6612 Dashboard Le Mans 1970 Limited Edition. Painted titanium case with strap of calf leather. The dial is made in the style of Porsche 917, which won in 1970. By purchasing such a watch, a real fan of brand Porsche feels behind the wheel of a sports car. In addition the watch comes with a booklet signed by Herrmann and Attwood. The watches will be released in a limited edition of 917 copies in September 2010.
