Concept of One-Wheel Electric Scooter from RYNO Motors

one wheel scooter

RYNO Motors has developed the world’s first self-balancing one wheel electric scooter. The scooter has a range of about 30 miles and can hit a top speed of 25mph. It weighs a mere 125 pounds and can support a rider weight of 250lbs. Multiple sensors constantly monitor the balance of the motorcycle during the movement and control system is ready to seize control of the bike if the driver ignores the warning and, for example, exceeds the maximum permissible speed or bends the car under a dangerous angle. There is also a system for monitoring the battery status (LiFePo4, by the way). When the battery level drops to 25%, the system warns the driver signal is yellow, up to 5% – red. It is assumed that the model will cost $3500.

Audi AG Concept

audi concept car

Let us show you quite unusual car concept. It’s even not quite concept car. This vehicle is designed by talanted artist from Sweden Jason Battersby as an award to celebrate cultural hero’s outstanding achievements. "Inspired by the Stanley Cup of the National Hockey League, I wanted to create a vehicle that would be passed on to each winner and be driven for one year, collecting the names and experiences of these great individuals." This project was in collaboration with Audi AG, done at the Umea Institute of Design in Sweden.

Renault Electric Concept Sports

The company recently introduced the Renault stunning concept electric car. Its design, you can evaluate yourself. As for "stuffing", the bright red DeZir equipped with a powerful electric motor, allowing the car for 5 seconds to accelerate from 0 to 97 km / h. Charging the lithium-ion battery takes about half an hour, and this charge is enough for 160 km. The length of the machine is 4,2 m, weight - only 830 kg. Until quite unclear whether Renault is going to do mass production models.

Concept engineering : mobile living module BLOOM

mobile module

Another mobile living module that works absolutely independently on renewed energy sources. It’s called BLOOM and equipped by solar batteries, air and liquid solar collectors, water treating filters, the furnace of slow burning and system of processing of dust. Living space consists of entrance zone, three private living zones (each on two persons) and the general territory with lunch zone. Also BLOOM could be transformed for increasing internal space and connected with some modules together. The creator of this project Olga Kalugina claims that module is intended for six peoples from three days about one week.

Concept Car : Ford 2010

The Ford Start concept made its world debut at the 2010 Beijing International Auto Show. The all-new concept, which was developed at Ford's Strategic Concepts Group Studios in Irvine, California, is designed to act as a showcase for the company's new small-displacement EcoBoost engine.

The EcoBoost drive train of the Start concept consists of an inline 3-cylinder engine with a turbocharger and direct injection. It is expected to produce comparable power levels to a similar four-cylinder engine, while also producing CO2 emissions under the 100 gm/km threshold. The engine is coupled to a six-speed manual transmission with gear ratios designed to offer a balance of performance and fuel economy.

Horological Machine No. 3 Frog

interesting watches

Maximilian Busser & Friends (MB & F) presente another masterpiece – Horological Machine No. 3 Frog. Time on this unusual watch is displayed on the two dials under the sapphire glass resembling frog eye. One dial is used to display hours and the other for minutes. Both are made of aluminum and combine high strength with low weight, resulting in minimizing power consumption in their rotation. One of the hardest things in the creation of this watch was to create glass of hemispherical shape from sapphire. The desired visual effect can be achieved only on the ideal glass shape, but it is extremely difficult. Total will be made 32 such chronometers. 12 of them will be in the black titanium corp with a green cage, and the remaining 20 ordinary titanium corp with a green cage.

Lexus Hybrid Bicycle

Japanese automaker Lexus has come up with a new hybrid bicycle concept. It supplements the rider’s pedal power to the rear wheel with a 25.9V lithium-ion battery pack and a 240W electric motor driving the front wheel, making it both-wheel drive. The company says the battery of the Lexus Hybrid Bicycle requires around 2 hours for a getting a complete charge. Featuring a frame finished in carbon fiber, the hybrid bike makes use of an automatic eight-speed internal gear system to enhance your riding experience without leaving any carbon footprint.

New concept car - BMW Vision EfficientDynamics

The official world premier will take place this month at the Frankfurt Motor Show.
BMW will never fail to surprise me because every time they introduce a new car it is always a masterpiece.

The new BMW Vision is a hybrid car that has 2 electric motors and a three-cylinder turbo-diesel engine. The total capacity is of 356 HP. The car can reach 100 km/h in only 4.8 seconds. And the best about this hybrid is the fuel consumption – no more than 3,76 liters for 100 km. Incredible! Love this car.

First up is a slick 356-horsepower all-wheel-drive plug-in diesel-hybrid concept that BMW claims accelerates like an M3, sips gas like a Toyota Prius and can go 31 miles on battery power alone. It’s called the Vision Efficientdynamics Concept, and we’ll see it later this month at the Frankfurt auto show.

No, Vision Efficientdynamics Concept doesn’t exactly roll off the tongue. But the name aside, BMW has a dynamite idea on its hands here.

The EfficientDynamics is a 2+2 four-door hybrid that combines M Series performance with better fuel efficiency and less emissions than you see in many compacts. BMW performs this magic by marrying its ActiveHybrid technology with an extremely economical engine and excellent aerodynamics. The result is a concept car with a top speed governed at 155 mph and a zero-to-62 acceleration time of 4.8 seconds. More impressive, the car gets 62.2 mpg and emits a Prius-like 99 grams of CO2 per kilometer.

Power comes from a 1.5-liter direct injection 3-cylinder turbodiesel engine and an electric motor on each axle. The engine was small to squeeze in between the rear seat and the rear axle, which should make the Efficientdynamics Concept very agile. The diesel puts out 163 horsepower and 214 pound-feet of torque. Add in the motors and total output is 356 ponies and a stump-pulling 590 pound-feet, though you can only get that much power in short bursts. The car has all-wheel-drive when running in electric mode. BMW says the car can run on the diesel engine, either one of the electric motors or any combination of the three.

The lithium-polymer battery pack sports 98 cells. It delivers 8.6 kilowatt-hours for driving the car, and BMW says the serial arrangement of cells has gross storage capacity of 10.8 kilowatt-hours. The pack weighs 187 pounds and BMW says it doesn’t need an active cooling system. BMW says the battery recharges in 2.5 hours at 220 volts.

All that tech is housed in a body designed with some serious inspiration from BMW’s Formula 1 cars. BMW says the Vision has a drag coefficient of 0.22, aided in part by the myriad vanes and ducts. People are going to love it or hate it, but you’d expect nothing less from BMW even without controversial designer Chris Bangle around anymore.

So far the Vision is just a concept. Still, BMW has made it clear it plans to make sustainability a cornerstone of its lineup, so we’re sure to see some of the technology in road cars before long.

Living in mobile egg House

Free Image Hosting at www.ImageShack.us

This house looking like a hard boiled egg is made by the Belgian architectural firm "dmvA". It was actually meant to be a an extension for the "Xfactoragencies" office, but was rejected several times by local building regulations, so instead "dmvA" made a mobile office that didn't look anything like the old "Xfactoragencies" offices.
